| Mission Statement | The Finance Committee assists the USG senators with respect to reviewing and monitoring spending policy. The committee also monitors the USG’s budget, including programming board and clubs’ expenditures. |

Finance Committee Chair (Treasurer)
Year: Junior
Major: Finance/ Pre-Law Track
Reason For Joining USG: I wanted to join USG because, as a finance major on the pre-law track, I was interested in how decisions are made, how money is allocated, and how organizations operate fairly and effectively. USG gave me a way to see leadership and budgeting in action while also being involved on campus. I joined as a freshman because I wanted to be part of something bigger than just going to class. I did take a break for one semester to focus on other priorities, but I realized I missed being involved. I genuinely enjoy being part of something that makes an impact and working with a team toward a common goal.
